Serving as Friendship Group Leaders and Licensed Ministers
With a heart for people and a calling to serve, we are committed to leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ and with one another.
We follow the apostolic doctrine of the Bible, preaching the same message the apostles preached in the Book of Acts:
One God (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Salvation through repentance, water baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38)
A holy, Spirit-led life that bears fruit and brings glory to God
We believe the Bible is the final authority in all things, and we aim to rightly divide the Word of truth with humility, boldness, and reverence.
This isn’t just a church group — it’s a community. A circle of friends who become family. We gather from house to house, just like the church in the Book of Acts, learning God's Word, overcoming life’s battles together, and lifting each other up through prayer and encouragement.
We believe the Holy Spirit still moves, and Jesus still saves, heals, and delivers — not only in a sanctuary, but around a kitchen table.
Our goal? To bring worship, prayer, and spiritual growth right to your doorstep. Whether you’re in Merced, Madera, or Chowchilla — there’s a seat waiting for you in this circle.
Faith in the Valley is a home-based fellowship group devoted to living out the gospel just like the early church — not in cathedrals or performance stages, but in the homes and hearts of everyday people across Chowchilla, Merced, and Madera, California.
We are people from all walks of life who’ve experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ and are passionate about sharing that hope with our neighbors. We believe in authentic community, fervent prayer, Spirit-filled teaching, and revival that starts in the home.
My name is Marcus, and I’ve been married to my incredible wife, Jessica, for 14 years. That’s also how long we’ve been part of the Apostolic Assembly—serving faithfully in the communities of Merced, and now in Madera. We currently live in Chowchilla, right in the middle of both cities, and we’re still committed to connecting and ministering to souls in all three.
This fellowship was born out of a deep desire to see lives transformed the way ours was.
We’re a first-generation Apostolic family. Fourteen years ago, right after our first son, Albert, was born, our home was overwhelmed by demonic oppression. We were living in fear, lost in darkness. But God — in His mercy — sent a man of God into our lives who didn’t just cast out that darkness, but helped us step into the light of a real, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Through God’s Word, we found healing, direction, and purpose. And now, with grateful hearts and renewed minds, we've made it our mission to help others experience that same breakthrough.
